The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – How to Watch and More

The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – How to Watch and More

A few more “angels” are about to get their wings. Tonight the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns for the first time since 2018 and is sure to be bigger and better than ever.

Longtime fans of the show will be pleased to see that, as in the past, the 2024 edition will feature A-list models, appearances from pop stars and, of course, those iconic VS wings. Legends like Tyra Banks and Adriana Lima have also been confirmed to be returning to the runway, which has created even more buzz around the event. However, the Victoria’s Secret team promises viewers a revamped version of the show.

“We’ve been reading the comments and listening to you,” the brand wrote in an Instagram post back in May. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is BACK and will reflect who we are today and everything you know and love – glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment and more! Stay tuned…it only gets more iconic from here on out.”

The event will take place tonight, October 15th, starting at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It will be available to stream on Prime Video and social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. In addition to Banks and Lima, Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, Ashley Graham and others walk the catwalk. The evening will feature a number of all-female musical performers, including Blackpink’s Tyla, Cher and Lisa.

Find out everything you need to know about the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, ahead.

You can stream it on Amazon Prime or social media.

There will be no shortage of ways to watch the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. If you have Amazon Prime, you can live stream the show on Prime Video starting at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and the pink carpet begins at 6:30 p.m. Amazon even offers viewers the opportunity to purchase the pieces directly from the runway as they appear via Amazon Live.

If you don’t have a Prime subscription, the show is also available to stream on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram (free). So you have plenty of options to watch them from home so you don’t miss them.

The show takes place in Brooklyn.

When the first ever VS Fashion Show took place in 1995, it was held at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Over the years, the event has found many different homes, from New York’s Lexington Avenue Armory to the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.

Now, almost 30 years later, the spectacle returns to its home in the Big Apple and takes place in Brooklyn. Welcome back, angel.

There will be an all-female cast with special artists.

In the past, Victoria’s Secret shows have always featured a selection of high-profile artists – from Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga to The Weeknd and Usher. And this year is no exception, as we were promised an all-female line-up that unites an industry legend with two rising stars of the music world: Cher, Tyla and Blackpink’s Lisa.

This is a special year for Cher, who was announced as the first female headliner back in September and will soon be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – two major milestones in her impressive career.

Meanwhile, Lisa performs following a series of new single releases including “Rockstar,” “Moonlit Floor,” and “New Woman” (featuring Rosalía).

As a newcomer to the VS stage, Tyla shared her excitement in a statement, saying: “Growing up, I was fascinated by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – the stunning outfits, iconic wings and charismatic models.” Now I’m excited I am thrilled to perform on this nostalgic and legendary stage. Even more exciting is the celebration of diversity, showcasing a wider spectrum of beauty, making this moment very special.”

Legendary “angels” return to the stage.

As if we weren’t already invigorated, the 2024 event will see the return of some legendary models to the runway, including Tyra Banks, who served as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1997 to 2005, the year she retired.

In an exclusive interview with Harper’s BazaarBanks said: “I ran off the runway and I [had] this big retirement and it was such a spectacle. I felt like that athlete saying, “I’m hanging up my cleats… I’m retiring from basketball.” And then, now I’m back! I never thought in a million years I would be back on the runway, but I am so excited and so ready for it.”

When Adriana Lima last appeared in a VS show in 2018, she announced that it would be her last appearance on the brand’s runway. Luckily for us, it has been confirmed that she will be coming back this year.

Other famous models set to appear include Gigi Hadid, Mayowa Nicholas, Ashley Graham, Paloma Elsesser, Barbara Palvin, Devyn Garcia, Behati Prinsloo, Jasmine Tookes, Irina Shayk, He Chong, Alex Consani, Anok Yai and more.

The iconic wings were crafted by Emmy award-winning designer Zaldy.

For the 2024 show, Victoria’s Secret hired Emmy Award-winning costume designer Zaldy to help create looks, including the famous wings worn by some of the most notable models of the 21st century.

In the past, Zaldy has been known for his work on high-profile concert tours, such as Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour and Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Tour. He has also performed in several Cirque du Soleil shows. But perhaps his biggest calling card is working as a designer of RuPaul’s clothes RuPaul‘S drag racing, which has earned him five Emmy nominations and three wins. Now Zaldy will leave his mark on the Victoria’s Secret stage.

This will be the first live show in six years.

The last time we saw a live Victoria’s Secret fashion show was in 2018, before it was canceled the following year due to increasingly low ratings and a number of controversies that plagued the show (including a lack of diversity, as well as that of the former CEO Leslie Wexner), connection with accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was canceled).

Since then, the spectacle has remained off the fashion calendar until it made a quiet comeback in 2023 with the documentary special “Victoria’s Secret World Tour,” which featured looks from 20 different designers who put their own spin on VS pieces.

Now the event is making a full-scale comeback with its first live show in six years, and expectations are, without exaggeration, sky-high. We can’t wait to see what awaits us.
