Man flown to ECU Health after car accident in Lenoir County

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) – On Tuesday morning, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a car accident.

The collision involved a logging truck and a Ford pickup on NC 11 in Lenoir County. 66-year-old Michael Snyder of Kinston was attempting to enter NC 11 when he pulled out in front of an empty logging truck traveling south. Snyder’s vehicle collided with the empty logging truck and he was flown to ECU Health with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Snyder was accused of not backing down.
