The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather warning for much of the Bay Area, including all of Santa Rosa and most of Sonoma County, from 11 a.m. Thursday through 8 p.m. Saturday. Northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and gusts up to 50 mph over mountain ridges are forecast for this period. Humidity is also expected to be as low as 15 percent during the day and less than 40 percent at night.
