Happenings: The “Time On Show” retail trade fair in Bologna

There have been many watch events recently, a testament to the strength of the watch community despite all the talk of a market downturn. But vintage watch fairs – where the public can buy some of the truly great and rare pieces – are still not as common. Sure, there are a number of trade shows that take place around the world, but they are primarily for dealer-to-dealer transactions and some have become increasingly, well, questionable as security has become an issue. Time on Show in Bologna from October 24th to 27th is designed not only to offer better vintage watches than most, but also in a unique setting.
