A Los Angeles police officer shot and killed a man lying on the asphalt, believed to be 34-year-old Jesse Dominguez

His family is demanding justice and claims his killing was completely unreasonable, Telegrafi reports.

Dominguez lives in a shelter near the highway and video of the incident shows him “fighting” with police before he is shot.

As American media report, Dominguez had been carrying a stun gun with him for security reasons; the police claim that Dominguez wanted to use it.

However, the victim’s family believes that the police overreacted and Dominguez is innocent. His stepmother Akasha says he suffered from bipolar disorder and didn’t want to hurt anyone.

He wanted to be an actor or singer, but he was unsuccessful in the auditions. His father said Dominguez worked as a waiter and refused his help. /Telegraph/
