Internet Archive is still not fully recovered: this is how the attack went

More details have emerged about the recent cyberattack on the Internet Archive, which appears to still not be fully recovered.

The archive is now back online and has an interim “read-only” functionality while the restore continues. Some services still remain offline, but Wayback Machine has resumed operations, although founder Brewster Kahle warned it could be shut down again if “further maintenance” is required.
