Mayor of Mykolaiv shows aftermath of nighttime rocket attack

The video was posted on the mayor’s Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

“This is one of the areas that was hit overnight. It is a regular market in one of the districts of Mykolaiv. Our municipal services have been operating since early morning and are also assessing damage in residential areas,” Sienkevych said.

The video shows completely destroyed market stalls, shops and a restaurant complex as rescue workers and municipal teams continue to clear the rubble of the attack.

As reported, the attack, which took place around 2:30 p.m. on October 15, involved about seven explosions, believed to be S-300 missiles. In addition to the market, an infrastructure facility, a restaurant complex, shops, residential buildings and vehicles were also significantly damaged. Tragically, one person died and 23 others were injured.
