Husband strangles wife in front of children

Today the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere will commission the autopsy of the body of 24-year-old Albanian Eleonor Toci, strangled and killed by her husband Luzmil on October 9 in her home bed in San Felice a Cancello of the province of Caserta. The murder took place in front of the couple’s small children, ages 4 and 6, who were sleeping in their parents’ room and are currently in the care of some relatives pending an assessment by the public prosecutor’s office and the juvenile court. The older child will show his mother’s body on the bed to his aunt via video call and will probably have to face an evidence incident in the coming days, which he will have to reconstruct protected from the investigating judge, the public prosecutor and others. In the bail interview after the arrest before the investigating judge on Friday, October 11th, 30-year-old Luzmil Toci repeated the confession he had made immediately after the incident and stated that he had strangled his wife in bed. This time he gave a comparison to the first interrogation also explanations, i.e. a kind of motive, and referred to family issues that are being investigated and nothing has leaked out so far. The Carabinieri of Maddaloni Company, led by Captain Federico Arrigo and coordinated by the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Prosecutor’s Office, have confirmed that there was an argument between Luzmil and his wife, possibly while the man tried to strangle her.
