Martinsburg woman injured in vehicle accident in Audrain County – KXEO

A Martinsburg woman is recovering from minor injuries following a car accident in Audrain County in the evening hours of Monday, October 14, 2024.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online accident report, the accident occurred on Audrain County Road 812, approximately 1,000 feet west of Audrain County Road 841.

A vehicle was parked on the roadway with no lights on and no driver in the vehicle.

A vehicle driven by 64-year-old Linda M. Welschmeyer of Martinsburg was unable to see the vehicle and struck the rear of the vehicle.

Welschmeyer was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of her injuries.
