Tragic accident with three deaths in Venice, two of the victims are Albanians – Telegrafi

Two of the victims of the traffic disaster that occurred on Friday morning at around 3:00 a.m. in the province of Venice in Italy are Albanian citizens.

The fire brigade managed to rescue the “BMW Series 3” car, in which three young people were traveling, from the river, where it landed after leaving the road.

The victims are all in their twenties. The 21-year-old girl named Giulia di Tillio lives in Portogruaro and Egli Gjeci (26 years old) and Altin Hoti (22 years old) of Albanian origin, both live in Concordia Sagittaria.

Italian media reports that Hoti was the driver of the vehicle. The young man’s family is shocked by his loss, as they lost their young son, 19-year-old Admir Hoti, in a traffic accident in Portogruaro in May this year.

So Egli Gjeci had a great passion for football and attended the D’Alessi Vocational Institute in the city, where he lost his life.

Firefighters searched the river for several hours after it was suspected a fourth boy was in the car, but the search came back negative.

According to some witnesses, the car in which the young men were traveling went straight around a curve, went over a curb and ended up in the river. The prosecutor in the case has ordered an autopsy of the driver to understand the psychophysical state he was in before the tragedy./a2cnn/
