Police officer denies sexual assault

A police officer has denied two cases of sexual assault alleged to have taken place in Cardiff.

Fiona Anderson, 32, from Exeter, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty.

The two incidents reportedly occurred in Cardiff in 2018 while Ms Anderson, a constable with Devon and Cornwall Police, was off duty.

She was initially arrested and released on bail in March 2023 and has remained suspended since then.

A trial date has not yet been set.
