ROSEBURG MAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT/QUOTED – KQEN News Radio

A Roseburg man was hospitalized and receiving medical treatment after a car accident early Monday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report states the 21-year-old was driving west on Happy Valley Road in the Green area just after 1:20 a.m. He left the lane to the right and crashed his vehicle into a parked car. The driver had no visible injuries but complained of pain and requested transport by ambulance to CHI Mercy Medical Center.

The man returned with a suspended license and was driving without insurance. The vehicle ended up on private property and the property owner arranged for it to be towed. A deputy went to the hospital and issued the driver a citation for driving while suspended and driving without insurance.
