Will Saka’s injury scare prompt Arsenal to look for a quality replacement?

Arsenal have developed a strategy to overcome the challenges presented by Bukayo Saka’s absence. The Englishman may have sustained an injury on international duty.

In England’s 2-0 defeat to Greece last week, he was substituted early in the second half after appearing to feel pain in his leg while trying to cross the ball. He then returned to Arsenal for further assessment; There is no information available about the severity of the injury, but interim England coach Lee Carlsley said Saka’s illness was not serious and they simply did not want to risk it.

If Bukayo Saka is available for Saturday’s game against Bournemouth, we can expect him to be in the starting XI. It is worth noting that Arsenal’s technical bench has tried to manage his playing time this season as he has been substituted around six times. And Arsenal want to continue to exercise caution about relying on him too much.

Speaking to Football Insider, former Manchester United scout Mick Brown revealed that talks have already taken place about strengthening the right wing. He stated that there had already been discussions about how to deal with injuries. Apparently the Gunners want to have replacements for every player. While the 23-year-old is currently ready to play, Brown says the club is keen to protect him more in the future.

“I’m sure they’re already trying to strengthen that position,” Brown said. “I understand that the Arsenal hierarchy have had discussions about what happens if certain players get injured and that includes Saka.

“They want to get to a point where they have solid support for every player in their starting XI.

“In the long term, they plan to strengthen themselves in all positions.

“But that certainly applies to Saka because a winger who is always looking for opponents is probably always going to get hit and take a hit.

“This latest setback is not that serious, they hope, but with the way he plays he will always pick up on these little problems.”

“At the moment he may always be available, but I know the club is planning for what happens when that is no longer the case.”

Saka has been an important player for Arsenal year in year out and has scored two goals and seven assists in ten games this season. Saka’s remarkable performances and impressive statistics have taken Arsenal to new heights.

As Brown suggests, let’s hope he can maintain his fitness until Edu has a capable replacement.
