SpaceX is sending another batch of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit

Oct. 15 (UPI) — SpaceX launched another batch of nearly two dozen Starlink internet satellites from the Florida coast early Tuesday.

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida around 2:10 a.m. EDT.

The mission is to launch 23 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, where they will join the thousands of satellites that make up the internet company’s ever-growing constellation.

The first stage booster returned to Earth on its 11th flight minutes after liftoff and successfully landed on the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas, which was waiting in the Atlantic Ocean, SpaceX confirmed on X.

Before the launch, SpaceX announced that the weather was “excellent” for the launch.

Starlink is committed to providing fast, low latency internet services worldwide.
