A 67-year-old woman was stabbed in Center City, according to Philadelphia police

A 67-year-old woman was stabbed to death in Center City on Monday afternoon, Philadelphia police said. The stabbing happened near 10th and Market streets just after 3:30 p.m

The 67-year-old was stabbed in the chest and upper back and taken to Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.

There is no information on a suspect or motive.

The stabbing is under investigation.
