The strategic acquisitions secure Dreamliner’s leading position in the event transportation and logistics industry as the company expands deeper into the music industry and beyond and evolves into a full-service transportation logistics company. Additionally, Dreamliner is expanding its customer offerings to include new categories, including film productions, mobile marketing campaigns, theater productions and festivals across North America.

Dreamliner will retain all Shomotion and Show Pro employees, including an expected 65 full-time employees, and will expand its footprint with the acquisition of Shomotion’s five-acre facility in Denver and Show Pro’s three-acre facility in Nashville. In addition, the acquisition will add over 70 trucks and 220 trailers, including aerial van trailers, drop deck van trailers, tail lift trailers and flat bed trailers.

“This merger is a historic milestone in the entertainment logistics sector,” said Michael Scherkenbach, founder and CEO of Shomotion, who will continue to lead the transportation services division in Denver. “The combined company will have the size, breadth and capabilities to provide unparalleled ground transportation solutions tailored to the entertainment touring industry,” Scherkenbach added. Shomotion’s customer list, curated for over 20 years, includes Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Elton John, expanding service capabilities to every existing Dreamliner customer and a range of new customers.

Dreamliner will also retain Show Pro founders and co-owners Kat Stiller and Curtis Jackson, who will work closely with Scherkenbach to lead the transportation services division. With the acquisition, Dreamliner will expand its presence and service capabilities in Nashville to support existing Dreamliner customers and show pro relationships. Show Pro has served clients such as Jelly Roll, SZA, 21 Savage, The Kid Laroi and more.

“These are two companies that our team at Show Pro has worked with either directly or with, allowing us to build great trust and respect for what we have all built and can achieve,” said Stiller, co-founder and owner of ShowPro. “As we look to the future, we know that Dreamliner has the skills and passion in the industry to take our combined companies to new heights.”

Within four years of the company’s founding, Dreamliner has served notable clients including Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Chris Stapleton, Pink, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Tool, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw , Black Crowes, Luke Bryan and many more. Dreamliner’s growth trajectory continues to expand with a total of four acquisitions since its inception in late 2020, strengthening the company’s presence and expanding its position in the entertainment transportation industry.

“Since Dreamliner’s inception, our team of drivers, mechanics, specialty builders and office staff have been a key differentiator in how we operate and deliver unmatched service,” said Rich Thomson, founder and CEO of Dreamliner. “Following these acquisitions, our team benefits from over 50 years of combined experience from industry leaders Shomotion and Show Pro. By adding the experience of Mike, Curtis and Kat to our world-class motorcoaches and services, we can offer a complete, one-stop solution for all travel transportation needs.”

Through these acquisitions, Dreamliner brings new trucks and buses to every major music tour in North America, adding value to Dreamliner’s event transportation logistics customer base. According to Thomson, the company expects an immediate increase in sales of over 40% in 2025. With two acquisitions of this size, Dreamliner claims to be the world’s largest provider of entertainment buses and freight forwarding services.
