Tragic accident on the national highway: one dead, two injured

In the early hours of October 14, a fatal car accident occurred near Bambila National highway connects BC Road to Belthangady. The car driven by Roopesh (50) lost control and fell into a low-lying Areca plantation.

Bhagirathi (58) from Kodialbail, Mangaluru, tragically died in the accident. Also in the car were Roopesh, who sustained serious injuries, and his wife Suchitra (33), who sustained minor injuries. The family returned from Tumkur for Dasara celebrations after Bhagirathi’s visit.

The accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on a curve near the Bambila Mosque.
