Houston attorney Tony Buzbee represented the victim and a number of other plaintiffs who filed lawsuits against the disgraced music mogul on Monday. Buzbee admitted during a press conference last week that more than 100 accusers have reportedly come forward accusing Diddy of “rape, sexual assault and sexual exploitation,” with additional minors implicated in lawsuits that have yet to be filed.

“The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s deluge of filings were clear attempts at publicity,” Combs’ legal team said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defense and the integrity of the legal process. “The truth will prevail in court: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, male or female.”

His legal team also denied the claims made against the “Last Night” singer last week.

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every unfounded allegation in what has become a ruthless media circus,” said Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolff. “Nevertheless, Mr. Combs strongly and categorically denies as false and defamatory any allegation that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and justifying himself in court, where the truth will be determined based on evidence, not speculation.”

Buzbee claimed the alleged abuse began as early as 1991, with incidents reportedly occurring as far back as 2024. Suspected victims scattered across the country in states including California, Florida, Georgia and New York came forward after Diddy was indicted by federal prosecutors.

Diddy was arrested and charged with conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation for prostitution. The indictment was quashed on September 17th. If found guilty, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison or a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Combs and his associates would “intimidate, threaten and lure female victims into Combs’ environment, often under the guise of a romantic relationship. Combs then allegedly used violence, threats of violence, and coercion to induce the victims to engage in extensive sexual acts against male commercial sex workers, whom Combs referred to, among other things, as “freak offs.”

Judge Arun Subramanian scheduled Diddy’s trial to begin on May 5. Prosecutors estimate it will take three weeks to present the case to the government, while Diddy’s legal team estimated they would need a week to present the rapper’s defense.
