Taylorsville Police Arrest Girlfriend, Others After Man Found Dead

Early Sunday morning, Taylorsville police found Jorge Llamas-Galaviz in bed with a gunshot wound to the neck while his girlfriend Ariana Aguilar lay on top of him.

Now she has been arrested along with her daughter and three other people.

At 3:40 a.m. yesterday, Taylorsville police said someone called an ambulance to Jorge Llamas-Galaviz’s home. Lieutenant Aaron Cheshire said they found him dead in his bedroom.

“And [he] appeared to have a gunshot wound to the neck,” said Lt. Cheshire. “The throat and neck area.”

They found his girlfriend Ariana Aguilar on top of him. Witnesses at the party say the couple argued and claimed he hit her. The police affidavit states that Aguilar returned with three men, forced his way into his home and a shot was fired.

Her daughter, Natalie Aguilar, was later found in Ogden, where she admitted to arriving with others to pick up her mother. Ariana Aguilar was arrested on murder and aggravated burglary charges, and three underage male suspects are in custody.
