Diddy is accused of sexually abusing a 17-year-old in new decades-long lawsuits

Sean Combs is accused of multiple counts of sexual assault and rape in lawsuits filed by six people from 1995 to 2021.

Sean “Diddy” Combs faces new allegations of sexual assault, rape and abuse, according to a series of lawsuits filed Monday in New York federal court. The lawsuits, filed by two women and four men, involve incidents between 1995 and 2021. Prosecutors allege that some of these assaults occurred at parties hosted by Combs that were attended by major celebrities and music artists. Combs has previously denied all criminal and civil allegations against him.

An accuser, who filed the complaint anonymously, claims he was sexually abused at a party in Hamptons in 1998 when he was 16. In the lawsuit, he claims Combs invited him to a private conversation during which Combs abruptly ordered him to take off his clothes, claiming it was a “rite of passage” and the “path to becoming a star.” The lawsuit includes a blurry photo of the two of them from the party.

Another lawsuit was filed by a woman who claims Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004 when she was a 19-year-old college student. According to the lawsuit, Combs fondled, molested and raped her despite her repeated requests for him to stop.

Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the accusers, said in a statement: “We will let the allegations in the lawsuits filed speak for themselves and work to ensure that justice is done.” Buzbee added that more lawsuits will be filed in the coming weeks is to be expected. Combs and his legal team have not yet responded to these latest allegations.

Combs also faces federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. The trial is scheduled to take place in May 2025
