Man arrested for firing gun during fight in Nashua, New Hampshire – NBC Boston

A New Hampshire man faces multiple charges after police say he fired a gun during a fight in Nashua earlier this month.

Nashua police said the arrest was the result of an incident on Oct. 3, just after 10 p.m., when officers were called to the area of ​​East Hollis and Spruce streets for a report of a fight between two men the shots were heard. The emergency services managed to locate some of those involved and witnesses and also found a single firearm casing.

Investigators interviewed several witnesses who said they saw two men engaged in a physical fight. A third man was not involved in the first fight but then became involved in the fight himself and fired a gun, they told police. The shot hit a nearby residence, but no one inside was injured.

According to police, investigators confirmed surveillance video of the incident that corroborated the witness statements.

An arrest warrant was issued for the third man, identified by police as 36-year-old Ryan Noel of Hudson, and he was taken into custody at an apartment on Worcester Street in Nashua around 9 p.m. Saturday. A search of the apartment uncovered a gun that had previously been reported stolen, police said.

Noel is charged with reckless conduct, felony conviction and receiving stolen property. He was turned over to Hudson police to answer unrelated charges and held on cash bail pending his arraignment Tuesday afternoon in Nashua District Court.
