Ulhasnagar: The son of a firecracker Godown owner died while two workers were injured after a firecracker exploded in the unit Murbad Taluka in Thane on Monday. One of the two injured is said to be life-threatening.
The deceased, identified as Manish, was in the process of transporting the firecrackers from one place to another when a huge explosion occurred. According to reports, the other workers in the basement immediately extinguished the fire, which otherwise could have wiped out the entire unit.
