What you need to know about voting in the November election: Shelby County’s new machines, early voting and more

This year, the Election Commission is seeing an increase in voter registration, particularly among younger residents. “In September alone 70% of our new voter registrations came from people under 36 years oldPhillips shared. “But registration is just the first step. We really need these young people to show up and vote.”
