Gordon natives died in an accident early Sunday morning on Grand Island

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – Grand Island police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred early Sunday morning that left four men dead, two of them from Gordon.

According to the Grand Island Police Department (GPD), just after midnight on Sunday morning, first responders were dispatched to an intersection where an accident occurred.

According to the preliminary investigation, the vehicle traveled north on South Locust at a high rate of speed, crossed the southbound lanes and struck a tree. A man was thrown from the vehicle. All four men were deceased at the scene when first responders arrived.

The victims are Daniel White Face, 20 of Gordon, Atreya Thorsen, 19 of Gordon, Juan Ramos, 22 of Grand Island, and Alexander Ramos American Horse, 18 of Grand Island.

According to GPD, next of kin have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
