McLennan County man arrested after sexually assaulting 16-year-old girl in 2006: affidavit

MCLENNAN COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) – A McLennan County man was arrested after sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl, according to an affidavit.

David Alan Stefka is charged with sexual assault, the affidavit says.

According to the document, on or about March 1, 2006, Stefka “then committed a sexual assault on a child under 17 years of age.”

The victim told police that Stefka sexually abused her, the document states.

During an interview with police, Stefka “confessed to having sexual intercourse with the victim,” the affidavit states.

The affidavit states that the age difference between Stefka and the victim is approximately seven years and 11 months.
