Rob Gronkowski joins entertainment studio Nuthouse for “Dudes on Dudes.”

Rob Gronkowski is the latest athlete to explore the entertainment business, joining forces with his former New England Patriots teammate Julian Edelman and Superdigital founder Assaf Swissa as partners in entertainment studio Nuthouse Sports.

The premise of Nuthouse (which spun out of Superdigital) is to feature “serious athletes with dubious content.” To that end, Gronk and Edelman will direct a new series that will premiere on October 15th Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules.

The series will feature the former NFL stars highlighting “three guys from the world of sports”; “Discuss what makes them special, relive their most memorable performances, and share stories that should probably stay in the locker room,” the logline reads.

“People will be surprised at how intelligent this show is. I also think they will be surprised at how stupid it is. “It is not a missile operation,” Edelman said in a statement.

Nuthouse has several projects in development and previously produced the Showtime documentary about Edelman 100%. There is also a digital series Games with names. The addition of Gronk will help expand the company’s position.

“I’m thrilled to join Nuthouse Sports and share our new show Boys against boys with the world,” Gronkowski said. “Jules and I went through it all together and I had so much fun Games with namesI thought, ‘What the hell, why don’t we do a show together?'”

Dudes On Dudes with Gronk and Jules is produced by Nuthouse Sports in collaboration with iHeartPodcasts
