Kansas City is included in the freeze watch for Wednesday morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After several weeks of above-average temperatures, the Kansas City area will finally feel more like fall this week.

This also means that temperatures are close to freezing.

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Advisory for the entire KSHB 41 viewing area from 1-9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16th.

KSHB 41 meteorologist Lindsey Anderson says high temperatures on Tuesday will barely reach 60 degrees across most of the area, setting the stage for a plunge in temperatures Tuesday night overnight into Wednesday morning.

Lows may reach the upper 20s in some areas.
