One person has died in a three-vehicle crash near Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle accident north of Oak Harbor on Sunday afternoon, October 13th.

According to the Washington State Patrol, two cars were traveling south on Monkey Hill Road when the first car failed to turn left.

A northbound motorcyclist had to move into the oncoming lane to avoid a collision, but ended up crashing into the second southbound car.

The 58-year-old male driver was transported to Whidbey Health where he died.

The driver of the second car and a seven-month-old child who was tied in a car seat were not injured.

According to WSP, no drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
