Hubballi riots: BJP stages dharna, condemns withdrawal of criminal cases

Hundreds of party leaders and members of the opposition BJP staged a massive demonstration at Freedom Park in Bengaluru this morning and strongly condemned the state government’s decision to withdraw criminal cases registered in connection with the Hubballi riots. Leader of Opposition R. Ashok, BJP state president BY Vijayendra, Yelahanka MLA SR Vishwanath, former deputy chief minister Dr. CN Aswathnarayan, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and others led the demonstration.
