1 dead, 1 in custody after stabbing in St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. – One man died and a suspect was taken into custody after a stabbing attack Friday night in St. Paul.

According to St. Paul police, officers arrived in the 200 block of East Seventh Street around 5:30 p.m. They found a man suffering from stab wounds lying in the gas station parking lot.

The man was taken to hospital where he died.

The suspect was on site and was arrested by officers. Investigators believe the suspect and victim had an argument in a store before the stabbing.

The incident is under investigation. The victim’s identity will be released following an autopsy by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
