Tragic streets: young people caught in violent confrontations

In a disturbing incident in Kitadih, Rohit Kumar Singh, a 25-year-old school bus driver, was brutally shot at close range as he slept outside his house in Bagbera. Police have detained one person for questioning as they investigate all possible motives behind the crime, including a recent altercation in which Singh intervened.

Just hours later, another violent confrontation erupted in Bistupur in which 21-year-old Devraj Pillai was stabbed to death after a motorcycle accident escalated into a fatal confrontation. Pillai was on her way home from Durga Puja pandal visits with friends when the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday.

Both cases are being intensively investigated, with authorities examining CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators involved. These incidents have raised serious concerns about street violence and the need for community safety measures.
