Woman arrested for allegedly stabbing a McDonald’s employee

A woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing an employee at a McDonald’s in Jackson.

Destiny Gibson, 22, was arrested Sunday after she allegedly stabbed the man with a “large knife” inside the restaurant at Northside Drive and Hanging Moss Road, according to WJTV.

Gibson was taken to Jackson Police Department headquarters where she was questioned and charged with murder.

Chief Joseph Wade told the local television station that officers were continuing to review surveillance footage and that he did not know at this time whether the two people knew each other before the crime.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
