Couple and two minor children found dead in Bengaluru

A couple and their two minor children were found dead in their house in Rajanukunte on the outskirts of the city on Monday (October 14, 2024). j

The deceased are Avinash (33), his wife Mamatha (30), his son Adhir (5) and his daughter Anaya (3). The couple hailed from Kalaburagi.

Avinash drove a taxi in the city and the family lived in a rented house for the last five years.

Avinash’s brother Uday also lived with them and worked as a teacher in a private school. He had gone to her hometown for the festival and returned on Monday morning to find her dead.

Avinash had turned up for work on Sunday (October 13, 2024), hours before he took the extreme step.

CK Baba, Superintendent of Police (Traffic), visited the spot and supervised the investigation. The investigation revealed that there was no argument or any other problem at home.

However, police are continuing to investigate to determine the cause of the suspected suicide death. Police are also waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death.
