Columbus Area Arts Council hosts “Monster Show for Art”

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC) presents The monster show for art and costume parties this Friday, October 18th, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 6th Street Arts Alley

Art, music, local food and drink, and a pop-up performance by Dancer’s Studio, Inc. will be part of the fun. We recommend that you wear a costume.

CAAC is throwing a huge party to mark the 50th anniversary of the first sighting of the Mill Race Monster in downtown Columbus.

The event celebrates The Monster Show exhibition at 411 Gallerywith sculptures by Curtis Hartwell, mixed media textiles by Laurie Wright and the publication of a Mill Race Monster comic by Kevin Zeigler.​

The party is free and food and drinks are available for purchase.
