The Interior Ministry has put on the wanted list blogger Sergei Kosenko, who got into a scandal with a video recording in which his two-month-old son was thrown into a snowdrift. This is proven by the data in the departmental database.

The card says that Kosenko is wanted under a criminal article. The Interior Ministry does not specify which article the search began for.

According to TASS, Kosenko is charged with failure to fulfill the duties of raising a child (Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and attempted intentional grievous harm to health (Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the charges, the blogger faces up to ten years in prison.

“While filming video content for his social networks, he threw the child away from him and upwards, causing serious harm to the health of his two-month-old son, and subsequently dropped him from a height of at least two meters “The child fell in a snowdrift, which made it possible to avoid serious injuries, that is, the criminal intent was not completed due to circumstances beyond the control of Kosenko,” the law enforcement interlocutor explained.

It also clarifies that as part of interim measures, all of the blogger’s bank accounts will be blocked at the request of the investigator. The total amount in 43 accounts in various Russian banks is more than 206 million rubles.

Sergey Kosenko is a marathon runner and entrepreneur. He sold franchises, invested in ventures and hosted giveaways with Russian stars. Now he sells marathons “about money, dreams, popularity and thinking,” about making money with cryptocurrency and real estate in Dubai.

As EADaily reported that in January this year, Kosenko posted a video on his social media page of himself throwing his son up and flying into a deep snowdrift. The video caught the attention of the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Nina Ostanina (CPRF) and warned that she would contact the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin about it.

Kosenko initially wrote that Leo – his son – really likes the snow and is already sleeping after the flight. The blogger later apologized saying it was a doll.
