Pa. Wilds under a freeze watch on Tuesday

At 2:36 a.m. Monday, the National Weather Service issued a freeze advisory for 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday for Northern Clinton, Northern Center and Northern Lycoming, as well as McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Tioga and Sullivan was valid.

The weather service states: “Minimum temperatures below freezing up to 30 degrees possible.”

“Frost and freeze could destroy crops and other sensitive vegetation and potentially damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” the weather service explains. “Anyone with agricultural interests should protect the sensitive vegetation. Potted plants should be brought indoors.”
