US base in the Koniko gas field is attacked

Arab sources reported an attack on the US base in the northern Syrian province of Deir ez-Zur early Monday.

Reports from Arab media indicate that the attack caused material damage to the US base.

There were no immediate reports of possible casualties.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been launching attacks on Israeli targets since the occupying regime began the genocidal war against Gaza in early October.

In retaliation for Washington’s support of Israel’s genocide in Gaza, the resistance has also attacked American military bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria.

After Palestinian resistance movements launched a surprise attack dubbed “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm” on October 7, Israel launched a vicious assault on the Gaza Strip, targeting hospitals, homes and places of worship.
