Accident in Washington County sends two to the hospital | News, sports, jobs

WATERFORD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Saturday that sent two people to the hospital.

The accident occurred Saturday at the intersection of State Route 339 and County Road 805, police said. A vehicle driven by a juvenile was rear-ended by another vehicle driven by Joe Misle, the patrol said. After the impact, Misle’s vehicle then veered left of center and struck another vehicle driven by Carla Salles, the patrol said.

Salles and the teen driver were transported to Camden Clark Medical Center to be checked for minor injuries, the patrol said. Misle failed to maintain a safe distance, but no citations were issued because the accident remains under investigation, the patrol said.
