Kim Sejeong goes from special forces member to top salesman in the new rom-com “Brewing Love.”

ENA’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Brewing Love” has previewed Kim Sejeong’s character!

“Brewing Love” depicts the heartbreaking love story between Chae Yong Joo (Kim Sejeong), an extremely passionate saleswoman at a liquor company who hides her feelings, and Yoon Min Joo (Lee Jong Won), an extremely sensitive brewery owner who is adept at managing emotions to capture people.

Kim Sejeong plays Chae Yong Joo, a passionate and legendary sales manager at a major liquor company. Sharp and energetic as a lager (a type of beer known for its tangy, mild and refreshing properties), Yong Joo has iron stamina, mental strength and a cheerful spirit – characteristics shaped by her time in the special forces. She is extremely loyal to her team and takes on the special mission of protecting the sales office where she has worked for six years. But her life changes when she meets a man who understands her heart better than she does.

A new look at Chae Yong Joo’s dynamic character sparks curiosity. Her passion as a top salesperson is evident as she focuses entirely on putting up posters to promote the company’s beer. Another fascinating scene shows her wearing floral print work trousers. As she holds a sickle and stares intently into the distance as if on a special mission, her sharp gaze conveys determination and raises even more questions.

Another still shows Chae Yong Joo taking aim at her target, hinting at her past in the special forces. Viewers wonder why Yong Joo, who was once a soldier, decided to enter the liquor industry. All eyes are on the changes that lie ahead for Yong Joo as she balances her cheerful charm with her strong, determined side, highlighting her dynamic character.

Kim Sejeong shared, “I believe that the growth of Yong Joo and Min Joo will bring comfort to people who have lost themselves while living for others. I am also looking forward to showcasing the different episodes that are taking place in the liquor industry and I think they will be interesting to watch.”

She also reflected on reuniting with director Park Seon Ho after her hit “A Business Proposal.” “Even though it’s a new project, it feels like I’m returning to a hometown that I’ve missed. “We have a deep understanding of each other on set,” she said, adding, “Since I have found such a comfortable space, I am working hard to show a different side of me than in my previous work.”

Kim Sejeong described her character Yong Joo as “someone who received a lot of love as a child but grew up early.” She wanted to reflect Yong Joo’s background as a former special forces soldier and highlight her courage of challenge and determination.

The actress added: “Yong Joo has a bright and strong exterior, but she hides her true feelings deep inside. Many aspects of Yong Joo remind me of my own childhood. If I hadn’t met so many nice people, I might still be in the same place as Yong Joo, which makes me approach the role with special sensitivity.”

“Brewing Love” is scheduled to premiere on November 4th at 10pm KST. Stay tuned!
