Fleet Week 2024: Woman and child injured after parachutist lands on them during San Francisco air show

SAN FRANCISCO – A spooky scene during the Fleet Week air show at Marina Green in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon.

A woman and child were taken to the hospital after a parachutist from the Navy’s Leap Frog team missed the landing zone and fell to the ground in the crowd.

According to officials, they suffered minor injuries.

The Navy said it would launch an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
