Man sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor

Additional District Judge (ADJ) Ajay Prashar has sentenced a man convicted of sexually assaulting a minor girl to 20 years in prison in Bhiwani district and also fined him Rs 25,000.

The accused, identified as Kaptan, a resident of Kirawar village in Bhiwani district, lured the minor girl and took her to a secluded place where she was sexually abused by him.

Following the incident last year, a case was registered at Tosham police station under Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and Sections 363, 366, 323 and 506 of the IPC.
