A crash near Highway 707 sent someone to the hospital Sunday evening

SOCASTEE, S.C. (WPDE) — A crash in Socastee Township sent one person to the hospital Sunday evening.

A motorcycle was involved in the two-vehicle accident.

It happened near Highway 707 and Dick Pond Road just before 5:30 p.m.

One person was taken to hospital.

The extent of their injuries was not disclosed.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. Horry County Police assisted.
