Fatal crash on I-35 in Iowa

NORTHWOOD, Iowa (KTTC) – One person was killed in a car accident Sunday afternoon in Worth County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a vehicle was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 in Worth County near Exit 208 around 1:45 p.m. The driver lost control of the vehicle, went into the median, broke through the cable barrier and crashed into the bridge pillar.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
