One person died in a rollover accident north of the Las Vegas Speedway

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One person was killed in a crash north of Las Vegas Sunday afternoon.

According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on southbound Interstate 15 at mile marker 65, about 13 miles north of Las Vegas Speedway.

Officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover at 3:56 p.m.

Police said a man had been confirmed dead.

While all southbound lanes on I-15 are open, authorities are advising motorists to exercise caution while driving in the area.
