3 injured in accident early Sunday morning in Des Peres

DES PERES, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Three people were injured in a crash on Manchester Road in Des Peres Sunday morning.

According to the Des Peres Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred just before 2 a.m. in the 12200 block of Manchester Road. Police said the accident was caused. Three people were injured in the accident, including one person in “extremely critical condition.”

According to police, the accident occurred when a vehicle traveling west on Manchester Road collided with a vehicle exiting a store.

The section of Manchester Road between Grubb Road and Ballas Road was closed for about five and a half hours, police said.

The accident caused debris to damage a nearby business and cover the roadway.

The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
