One dead after fight in Fort Worth, suspect arrested

One person is dead after a group brawl ended in gunfire Saturday night in Fort Worth, police said.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call in the 4300 block of Kyleigh Dr, near the intersection of South Hulen Street and West Risinger Road. Officers found a deceased person in a residential driveway.

The victim’s identity was not known as of Sunday afternoon.

A suspect was also located and arrested by officers at the scene, but had not been arrested as of 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers determined that a group of women at the scene were involved in a physical altercation when the victim approached the residence and the suspect allegedly fired several shots.

The suspect and several witnesses were interviewed by Fort Worth police Sunday morning.

Police did not immediately say what led to the fight.
