One person was injured in a shooting in downtown Waco on Sunday

WACO, Texas (KXXV) – Waco Police said 25 news One person was injured in a shooting in downtown Waco early Sunday morning.

At approximately 1:40 a.m., officers responded to a call near the intersection of Fifth Street and Austin Avenue where they found a person with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be OK.

No arrests were made in connection with the shooting and no further information was available.
