Providence Police are investigating a stabbing on Broad Street

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (WLNE) – Providence Police announced they are investigating a stabbing that occurred early in the morning on October 12th.

Police responded to the scene after the Providence Fire Department notified officers they were transporting a victim for stab wounds.

The victim told police he was stabbed at the 7-11 on Broad Street.

Police said police did not find a crime scene and the victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

The incident is still under investigation.
