Two men were fatally stabbed in Soundview overnight

Two men in their 20s were fatally stabbed in Soundview overnight, according to the NYPD.

Police said around 4:51 a.m. at 1215 Stratford Ave. to have found a 27-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest and a 24-year-old man with a stab wound to the stomach

Both men were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where they were pronounced dead.

Sources said the stabbing could have resulted from a verbal argument.

The NYPD said there have been no arrests and has not released any further details about the stabbing.
