RHOP’s Karen Huger slams Stacey Rusch’s ‘sexless’ relationship

Karen Huger doesn’t mince her words when it comes to what she’s thinking about The Real Housewives of Potomac Costar Stacey Rush‘s new relationship.

“Well, they’re not married. It was a sexless relationship,” Karen, 61, exclusively shared Us on Us weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party at Dream Hotel on Thursday October 10th. “There is a difference. I am married. Twenty-eight years. Praise the Lord. Kudos to Ray.”

Karen, best known as the Grand Dame of RHOP, was married to Ray Huger since 1996 and they have two children together. Meanwhile, Stacey, 39, joined the Bravo series alongside her boyfriend in its currently airing ninth season. Thomas Anthony Jones (nickname TJ) and revealed that they are celibate.

When talking to Us On Thursday, Karen joked that she was “not at all” surprised by Stacey’s relationship. (The Bravo newbie, a former QVC host, met TJ through the shopping network.)

“I read that from the jump,” Karen said. “It’s over, isn’t it? Stay tuned.”

Stacey hasn’t publicly confirmed the status of her relationship, but gushed about TJ during the season nine premiere, which aired earlier this week. Us weekly I asked for a comment.

“TJ and I met at his audition to become a host on QVC,” Stacey said during the premiere. “It was this real friendship, and after about six months, we both just couldn’t deny that we wanted to be in each other’s lives.”

In a preview of an upcoming episode, Stacey revealed her co-star Ashley Darby that she and her boyfriend could be “on the journey” of a possible marriage.

“I love someone,” she added. “He is a devout Christian, so we are not intimate at all.”

Karen also shared her thoughts on Stacey with us RHOP Debut.

“Was it a transition or a rejection? [from QVC]? Let’s see. Just saying,” Karen quipped on Thursday. “The daggers you saw between Stacey and me are phenomenal television in my opinion, but are they real? … I am the spectator who is watching. Let’s see what happens in the future for Miss Stacey.”

Despite the drama with Stacey, Karen was happy with her performance in the season premiere.

“For me, I always like authenticity and I feel like I’ve brought out the authenticity of others who were fake,” Karen said Us at the party in Los Angeles. “I actually called it ‘My Press Conference No Press No. 2,’ but I called the party ‘The Interrogation Party’ and just turned it around.”

She added: “I can’t say these new girls haven’t taken charge and… I’m excited to see what they do in the future. “You have to keep at it.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8pm ET on Bravo.
